On February 26, 2012 ABC Television Network broadcasted The 84th Academy Awards.  Every celebrity and their mother (literally there was a section of the show where the mothers of the nominated actors were allowed to speak) were in the building formally known as The Kodak Theatre.  Hosted by Billy Crystal, it served to be a night of history in the making along with a few pleasant surprises for 1st time Oscar recipients.  Below are pictures from the awards ceremony, red carpet, and press room.

Vh1 is known for celebrating a DIVA honey!  So tonight was as good a night as any, to bring out some of the late greats along with modern day Soul & R&B singers.  Throughout the show, there were live performances according to the states they were from and the history of the soul music during that era.  The place was packed with fans to hear divas of American Idol, Queens of R&B, and even a few gentlemen hold a tune.  It was truly a night to remember.
